A Walk Around the Lake at Teijo National Park

The Teijo National Park in Western Finland near the town of Teijo. The park consists of two lakes, some swamp between them, and forest around them. There are a few different trails in the park. I took these pictures while hiking around one the lakes there in early spring. The trail I walked through went around the Matildanjärvi Lake, passed by the swampy area, and passed the town of Järvenkylä at the end. The trail was easy to walk through, since the terrain is pretty flat and the paths seem regularly used. There are nice views of the lake and you get to stay right on the coast for most of the path. There are other trails that go around the other lake and through some of the swamp area.

During the same day, I went to the Teijo ski resort nearby during evening to see the view from there while I was in this town. There is a nice view of the river going past Teijo.
