These are pictures I took from two walks in the area of Ravattula in the city of Turku in Western Finland. The area is at the edge of the city where the more urban areas change to rural areas. A trail goes along the Aurajoki river to here where it then goes to the fields and the surrounding forests. There are short trails through the forests that can be walked to easily from the nearby urban areas, so this is a good place to go for a short walk in nature if living nearby.
The forests are pretty basic, but have lots of birch trees and lily-of-the-valley plants during summer, which I think are quite pretty.
Some of the trail goes next to the fields in the area, where there is a view of the nearest rural area to the city.
