The Pääkslahti Nature Trail near the town of Vihti in Southern Finland goes through the forests of the Pääkslahti Bay and to the coast of the Hiidenvesi Lake. There is a nice view of the lake from the cliffs on the coast, where the trail goes. During late winter, I hiked through that path and took these pictures from there. There are some parts of the trail that are difficult during winter due to snow and ice. The hills on the coast were very slippery when covered in ice.
In the forest, there was still some snow and ice on the ground, especially in the areas that had stayed in shadow. Some of the snow had melted and created muddy areas that were difficult to get past without getting your boots dirty.

From the cliffs on the coast, there was a nice view of the Hiidenvesi Lake, that was still covered in ice. Following the trail up the cliffs was a bit difficult, since there was snow and ice on them.
