A Walk Through the Forest of Katariina Nature Reserve

The Katariina Nature Reserve near the city of Turku in Western Finland is a small area of forest near the coast with trails going through it. The forests and the fields surrounding them are quite pretty and the trails are very easy to walk through or use for jogging. I took these pictures while walking there during spring.

The leaves on trees were still growing after winter. In some places there was already a thick cover of leaves, some trees still looked pretty bare.

Some flowers had already bloomed and there was a large amounts of lily-of-the-valley flowers with beatifull leaves growing.

The animals here seem used to people, so I got a few pictures of them from very close.
