Fog on a Coastal Trail at the Island of Ruissalo

Ruissalo is an island in the Baltic Sea next to the city of Turku. On the western part of the island, there is a short nature trail along the coast and beaches where I took these pictures. From the trail, there is a nice view of all the small islands around the coast. When I walked through a part of the trail and took these pictures, it was winter, but there was not much snow. Instead, there was some fog on the coast, which made the scenes on the coast a bit more interesting.

The beaches looked pretty grey and depressing during this weather.

There was only visibility to the nearest islands from the coast. The ships leaving port in Turku sometimes go pretty close to this island and one did just pass by when I was walking there. The buildings on the mainland coast were barely visible through the fog.
