Winter Morning Walk in the City of Hämeenlinna

Hämeenlinna is a city in Southern Finland. The city has some nice classic style architecture among the more modern buildings, at least in the center of the city. I went for walk around the central part of the city during morning in the early winter and took these pictures there. The streets were very empty and quiet during this cold winter morning.

Some light snow covered the streets of the city. There was not much of it since it was still very early in winter.

While most of the city was still in shadow, the morning sun shined on the Häme castle near the center of the city.
