The city of Hanko is located in the most southern part of Finland on the coast of the Baltic Sea. During early winter, the beaches there are a bit too cold for swimming, but there is still a nice view of the sea there. On the Bellevue beach, there is a trail going across the whole beach, which I walked through and took these pictures from there. I also walked a bit into the city, where there are some buildings with interesting architecture very close to the beach. There had been some snowfall the day before I took these. Most of it had melted away afterwards while some snow was still left on parts of the beach.
On the coast there was a pretty view of the small islands near the coast and a very cold wind. A few spots had some snow that had not yet melted.

Near the coast in the city itself, there are many buildings with pretty or interesting architecture. I walked a few hundred meters from the beach to the Hanko Watertower before turning back so I could get a few pictures from some of the buildings here as well.
