The Haltiala farm in the city of Helsinki is a farm and a tourist place owned by the city where visitors get to see the animals at the farm. Near the farm, there are many trails used for running, biking, or skiing. I took these pictures while walking through a path around the fields near the farm during early morning in the summer. There is rural feel to the place, even if it is actually located in the biggest city in Finland.
I walked from the urban area of Torpparinmäki to Haltiala. Part of the path I walked went along the Vantaanjoki River. On the other side of the river, there is just more urban areas. On this side, there are the fields and a forest with trails.

I walked around the fields surrounding the farm, but I did not visit the farm itself. Last time I was here, there were animals like cows in the fields, but at this time the fields were empty. There is also a pretty sunflower field nearby, but they had not grown yet.
