Old Town and a Lake in Rauma

In the town of Rauma in Western Finland, there is the old town center which contains beautiful old wooden houses. I walked through a small part of the old town and visited a nearby trail at a lake during an evening and took the following pictures there. These pictures were taken pretty late in the evening, but it still surprised me how empty the streets were. This did give me a good opportunity to take pictures without cars in the streets, that would not fit the mood of the old architecture.

I walked through a few streets in the old town and past a small river going past it.

I rode a bike from the town to the nearby Äyhönjärvi Lake. I had hoped to walk trough a trail around the whole lake in the evening but the sun was already setting as I got there, so I just watched the sun set near the coast.
