Greens of Spring in the Forest and Countryside, Pictures from Kouvola

I took these pictures during spring in the city of Kouvola. The pictures are taken from the Pioneerimetsä Forest and From Alakylä Village. Pioneerimetsä is a nature trail in the village of Koria. Alakylä Village is a village next to the Kymi River and along the Kymi River hiking route.

Pioneerimetsä Forest is next to the Pioneeripuisto Park, which is a former military garrison that was used by an engineering regiment for a long time.

I went through part of the Kymi River hiking route after visiting the Pioneerimetsä trail, which led me to the Alakylä Village. The village is not far from the urban areas of Kouvola, but you can still get very rural-looking pictures from there as long as you don’t point the camera towards the city.
