Cloudy and Sunny Winter at the Factories and Nature of Varkaus

In january, I took some pictures with film from an indrustial area and a rapids close to it in the city of Varkaus where I now live. I took these pictures during two different days. During the first day it was very cloudy, and I walked past the paper factories in Päiviönsaari Island to the rapids at Kämäri. During the second day the sun was shining but I was taking pictures after work, so I did not have much time until sunrise. Because of that, I only visited the rapids in Kämäri. The film I used for these pictures was the new Fujifilm 200 color film.

These first images are from the cloudy day, The original pictures had a yellow color cast because of the overcast, so I have heavily corrected the colors on these ones.

The next pictures are from the second day when the sun was shining. I did not do any color changes expect for those that were done by the scanner.

Here is a bonus picture I took with the same film roll from the city of Savonlinna. I only had two pictures left on the film when I went to Savonlinna. The rest of the pictures there I took with a digital camera. You can see them here.
