The nature reserve of Komio is a small area in southern Finland with diverse landscapes. It contains a lake, swamp, and hills in a forested area. There are some paths at the nature reserve that go through various parts of it. I went to Komio and took these pictures during morning while walking throgh one of the paths. I had arrived very early as the sun was rising. The pictures here in color are taken with a digital camera and the black-and-white pictures are taken with film.
I arrived at the lake Luutalammi during sunrise and took some pictures along the coast while walking the path towards north. The coast is already swampy at the beginning and turns into a proper swamp to the north. This part of the path is wide and easily accessible.

At the swamp, the wide path turns into duckboards that go across the swamp. They lead to a dirt road that goes through the forest.

From the dirt road, the path continues into the forest in Komio and leads to the hills to the north.

At the hills there are few places from which to view the landscape. Most of the views are blocked by trees. From the hills, there is a path that starts going back towards the lake, which I took.

During the walk back from the hills, there is mostly more forest. There is, at one point, a small pond in the forest.

Along some parts of the path, there were burnt parts of the forest. These were intentionally burn as a forest management technique to improve the wildlife habitat.
